A well structured cognac already with a roundness on the palate. The smoothness appears when the glass is sufficiently warmed.
Twenty years in oak barrels forges its character. XO is manifestly a mature cognac. It has a well structured body, amber in colour with an elaborate nose: the smoothness is born of a long period of transference between the wood and the eau de vie.
